Hello, and welcome to another "Word from the Vine." Today, we'll be talking about the power of community and how it can help us grow in our faith.
The Bible tells us that we are not meant to go through life alone. In fact, God created us to be in community with one another. When we surround ourselves with other believers, we have people to turn to for support, encouragement, and accountability.
One example of the power of community can be found in the early church. In Acts 2, we see that the believers "devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." They shared their possessions and took care of one another's needs. Through their community, they were able to spread the Gospel and make an impact in the world.
As we strive to live out our faith today, let us remember the importance of being part of a community. Whether it's through our church, small groups, or other Christian organizations, we can grow and learn together. Let's lean on each other and experience the power of community in our lives.
Thanks for tuning in to today's episode of "Word from the Vine." Join me, Pastor Loren Christensen, next time as we explore another aspect of our faith.
