Dear friend,
I want to first commend you for taking the brave step of seeking help and entering treatment for substance abuse. This is not an easy road, but I believe that with determination and the right support, you can overcome this challenge.
In terms of transformative faith, I believe that as Christians, we are all called to a life of growth and change. This means that although we may struggle with sin and temptation, God's grace and mercy are always available to us, offering us the opportunity to repent, turn away from our mistakes, and move forward in a positive direction.
Regarding the question of evil, I understand that it may be difficult to reconcile the existence of evil in the world with the idea of a loving God. However, I believe that God's goodness and mercy are ultimately greater than any evil we may encounter. He is a God who mourns with us in our pain and suffering, and who promises to ultimately overcome evil and make all things right.
As you continue on your journey towards recovery, I pray that you may experience God's grace and mercy in a tangible way, and that you may find hope and strength in the midst of difficulty. Remember, you are not alone, and there are people around you who care and are here to support you.
Sincerely,
Pastor Loren
